Diarrhea of the Mouth
April 25th, 2006

Now I know that all of you out there in Ram-land are anxiously awaiting draft day, again. For me, all the hoopla with the new coach and what he’s going to do, and who he is going to choose is kind of like finally going out with that girl that everyone talks about. You know, the easy one? The hot girl who seems to just make it out and around to every party, and could look hot in a trash bag? Yeah, who the hell is she anyway? Doesn’t that dirty little tramp realize that even normal everyday Joe’s like me have feelings too! Okay, get a grip Watchdog!

Sorry guys, got a little carried away. Anyway, my point was that no matter what really happens and no matter who the Rams finally choose, there is always going to be that great expectation that will remain unfulfilled; that what-if, that why not. Not unlike the dirty tramp story, it seems like the Rams, with most of their top picks of recent years were left wondering why they put out for everyone else and not us. Oh the irony…weird.

Anyway, that’s my take on the draft. I hope we get a good defensive player with attitude, and with that Jimmy Williams comes to mind, but I don’t think we need to waste a top pick on a quarterback. I heard an old saying from an old head coach that basically said if your going to crapshoot, do it in the later rounds. I would just as soon see us make a deal with Dallas to send a group of cheerleaders over for a third or fourth round pick, along with big-dog Jay and a Larry Marmie toilet seat. Isn’t a great product? I think Rams fans all across America would agree that this man really made you want to take a sh#!.

Just so no one out there gets the wrong idea about me, I just wanted to let you know that I am not really a “glass is half empty” kind of guy. That is of course, except when I’m at the bar. But I truly believe in coach Lik-a-hen as being a lot like me, talks a good game but in the end will always end up licking his butt. Good luck Scott, and don’t forget to brush.
