2005 is well behind us, thank God! The new coaching staff is in place, the draft is over, mini-camp is over, free agency is over, all of our players are in camp and signed, and with the first pre-season game coming up 8/10/06 training camp is close to being just a memory!

If this doesn't give you reason to be excited, you might want to get to the doctor real quick and make sure that they can find your pulse because it's time for some football!

With all the changes that have occurred since the demise of the "Mad Martz" era you would think that people would be jumping up and down for joy because change is good, especially when it was so sorely needed by our team!

It's time to put away the apathy and get yourselves prepared for not only the new "Linehan Era" of no nonsense football and back to the basics and support your team. Don those blue and gold colors proudly and forget about last year!

I in particular like the Rams new campaign of "I Believe!" it's a wonderful idea and should be a good way to get people pumped up. Because you need to believe in this new team. You need to give it a chance. The players are, they're buying into it. And they have not bought into anything for quite some time now. Why do you think things have turned out the way they have in the recent past? They didn't just all of a sudden forget how to play football or lose the talent they have. They simply stopped believing in the program!

So get yourselves pumped up, watch the pre-season games closely, who cares if it's just pre-season? You should, this gives you a peek at what Linehan is all about! It's a new time, a new era, a new philosophy, a new team attitude, a new team! So let's get in on it from the beginning! Cop a new attitude!

And say "I Believe"! Yes, I believe it can happen!
