Only days until Sept. 11th...Rams kickoff! Provided by CGISpy.com

Ken Little aka BeaverRam
My Ram life started back in 1970, when I was born in Riverside, California to a mother who loves sports and a grandfather who lived them. I was immediately started on a steady diet of Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers, two of which I still remain tried and true to (GO SAC KINGS!!!). Upon entering kindergarten, I was Pee-Wee ready and of course the local team was the Rams. So at age six I played for the RAMS. Now how many six year olds can claim that? But then my mother decided that she couldn’t handle raising a rough and tumbly son on her own, so she married my stepfather and moved my sisters and me up north to Niner and Raider country – Sacramento. AAAAHHHHHHHH!!! The hated Niners at such an early age. Needless to say, a few scrapes and bruises came my way, but hey, it just builds character, right? I continued on with my football career all thru elementary school until I suffered a career-ending injury as a freshman, so I changed my focus to writing and wrote for the school paper until they booted me out after graduation. But did it end there? NO!!! I had to go and fall in love with a beautiful, charming, brilliant woman who, yep, you guessed it, is a diehard NINER fan!!! Thirteen years so far of 6 months on 6 months off, if you know what I mean. And so here I sit at age 35 with the proverbial blue and gold still running thru my veins, but now with three kids, Isaac, Joshua, and Kayla, who have quite the dilemma facing themselves, and myself facing the challenge of leading them down the yellow (gold) AND blue brick road. I’m sure they will make the right decision, as have all we Rams fans. In the meantime, I will accept the new challenge of sports writing on a much grander stage than in high school- writing about our beloved Rams with passion and intrigue yet just enough controversy to keep you reading my column. Stay tuned….
