Ram49 brings with him over 25 years of Rams passion. In 1977, Ram49 sat down to take in his first NFL football game…who was on? The Los Angeles Rams vs. the Cleveland Browns. For a young ten year old it came down to the ‘horns’ vs. a team that was…well,” brown.” After watching Lawrence McCutcheon and John Cappelletti, his love for the Rams was born.
In 1984, a young, high school football player, Ram49’s family took a vacation to sunny Anaheim, California, where he was able to visit Anaheim Stadium. Upon return to Oregon, Ram49’s team had already begun daily doubles and had assigned jersey numbers. When he learned his coveted, Nolan Cromwell #21 jersey had been taken, he settled for another favorite, taking Rod Perry’s #49…and wearing it with pride as he played high school strong safety. The rest they say…is history…
